Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Analysis:

  • Assist senior engineers in the analysis and design of structural systems for various projects.

  • Prepare structural analysis models and design structural elements as per project requirements.

  • Ensure designs are properly indicated on drawings and comply with industry standards.

• Collaboration & Coordination:

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate structural design information.

  • Participate in design team meetings and liaise closely with other departments to ensure design requirements are met.

• Documentation & Reporting:

  • Assist in the preparation of design documentation, including reports and drawings.

  • Contribute to the preparation of design criteria and analysis reports for projects.

• Quality Control & Site Visits:

  • Participate in the departmental QAQC system to ensure design integrity.

  • Visit construction sites as needed to clarify design requirements and ensure compliance with designs.

  • Respond to requests for information from construction teams.

Requirements:

• Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

• Experience:

  • 7-10 years of relevant experience in structural design.

  • Experience in designing structures for various types of projects, with the ability to work on simple projects with guidance from senior engineers.

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency with structural analysis and design software such as STAAD, ROBOT, ETABS, SAFE, ADAPT, AutoCAD, and Revit.

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project.

• Personal Attributes:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
