We are looking for a seasoned Legal & Government Relations Specialist to join our dynamic team based in Jebel Ali Freezone, Dubai. This role is pivotal for ensuring legal compliance and managing government-related procedures for a company operating in the heavy machinery and construction equipment sector.

The ideal candidate will have a strong legal background, extensive experience with UAE government procedures, and the ability to represent the company effectively with various public and regulatory authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and manage contracts related to machinery sales, rentals, logistics, and partnerships.

  • Ensure all legal documents comply with UAE laws and Freezone regulations.

  • Oversee renewal and management of trade licenses, establishment cards, tenancy contracts, and corporate approvals.

  • Handle new company registrations, amendments, and closures.

  • Liaise with UAE government entities, including:

    • DED

    • JAFZA / Freezone Authorities

    • MOHRE

    • GDRFA

    • Chamber of Commerce

    • Customs & Municipality offices

  • Manage employee visas (new, renewal, cancellations), medical tests, Emirates IDs, and dependent visa formalities.

  • Ensure timely submissions for permits, inspections, NOCs, and regulatory approvals.

  • Provide expert legal and procedural advice to leadership.

  • Maintain and build strategic relationships with government bodies and legal partners.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a relevant field.

  • 5–12 years of relevant experience in the heavy machinery or construction equipment sector.

  • Strong understanding of UAE labor law, licensing, and visa regulations.

  • Proficiency in legal contract management and negotiation.

  • Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).

  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.

  • Valid UAE driving license preferred.

  • Age: 28 – 45 years
