Apparel Group is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Cake Decorator to join their team. The role involves decorating cakes and pastries to customer specifications, ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained, and contributing to an exciting and festive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Decorate cakes to customer specifications, ensuring high-quality designs.

• Use various decorating tools, including icing bags, airbrush guns, and modeling tools.

• Maintain a keen eye for detail when creating intricate designs and ensuring uniformity.

• Assemble and prepare cakes and soft serve, decorating with icing, edible images, and lettering.

• Adhere to Cold Stone standards of quality and excellence.

• Maintain inventory of decorated cakes and ensure displays are well-stocked and attractive.

• Conduct sampling and sell products in a team environment to ensure consistent quality and service.

• Ensure a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety standards.

• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Health, Safety, and Security Responsibilities:

• Maintain hygiene standards according to cleaning rotas.

• Be familiar with restaurant policies regarding health, hygiene, and safety procedures.

• Ensure compliance with fire safety and evacuation procedures.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in cake decorating.

• Attention to detail and ability to work for extended periods while maintaining quality.

• Good color vision for mixing icings and creating designs.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.

• Strong organizational skills to maintain inventory and ensure product availability.
