We’re hiring a Mechanical R&D Team Leader to spearhead the development of cutting-edge Life Safety products at our new sustainable campus in Dubai, UAE. Be part of a global power management leader shaping the future of energy, innovation, and sustainable manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of mechanical engineers in the design and development of mechanical systems for Eaton’s Life Safety product line.

• Oversee project planning, timelines, and resource allocation in collaboration with cross-functional teams and technical leaders.

• Develop design concepts, 3D CAD models, and prototypes while ensuring compliance with Eaton’s engineering standards.

• Drive mechanical simulation, validation, and testing activities.

• Apply Agile methodologies (Scrum, Lean, Kanban) to accelerate innovation and delivery.

• Engage with supply chain strategy, product cost optimization, and supplier development.

• Support production quality, cost, and safety initiatives across operations.

• Mentor team members, conduct performance reviews, and organize training and upskilling programs.

• Foster a collaborative, innovative, and safety-conscious work culture.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• 10–12 years of experience in mechanical R&D with a proven track record in team leadership.

• Deep knowledge of injection molding, sheet metal, and fabrication processes.

• Proficiency in technical project management, CAD tools, and engineering simulations.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Experience with Agile project environments is preferred.
