Job Title: Senior Accountant

Role Overview:
We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Senior Accountant to lead day-to-day financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and support strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, taxation (including UAE VAT and Corporate Tax), and ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate financial statements, ledgers, and periodic reports in a timely manner.

• Manage end-to-end accounts payable and receivable processes and general ledger reconciliation.

• Handle statutory compliance including GST, TDS, and UAE VAT filings.

• Support budgeting, financial forecasting, and variance analysis to guide business decisions.

• Conduct internal audits and provide documentation and assistance for external audits.

• Ensure adherence to financial policies, standards, and local tax regulations including UAE corporate tax.

• Liaise with banks, vendors, auditors, and regulatory authorities as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (MBA or CA Inter preferred).

• Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in accounting and financial management.

• Proficient in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books.

• Strong understanding of financial reporting standards, UAE VAT regulations, and corporate tax laws.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and time management skills.

Preferred Skills:

• UAE VAT compliance and tax filing expertise

• Familiarity with UAE corporate tax framework

• Advanced financial reporting abilities

• ERP proficiency (Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, etc.)

• Strong critical thinking and professional client communication

Preferred Candidate:

• 2–3 years of relevant experience

• Based in the United Arab Emirates
