ENGIE Solutions Middle East is hiring an experienced ELV Technician for its data center operations in Dubai. The role involves maintaining critical electrical and ELV systems to ensure 99.999% uptime. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive measures within data centers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on data center equipment including UPS, LV Panels, Busway Systems, BMS, and ELV Systems.

• Respond promptly to emergency situations and perform necessary repairs.

• Keep accurate records of maintenance tasks using CAFM (FSI) Mobile App.

• Support data center operations by ensuring optimal functioning of electrical and ELV infrastructure.

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment including generators, PDUs, and switchgear.

• Comply with HSE standards and participate in the PTW (Permit to Work) process.

• Maintain spare parts inventory and support after-hours activities as needed.

• Attend training sessions to enhance skills and stay current on system updates.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma/ITI in Electrical and Electronics.

• Experience:

  • 3+ years in Integrated Data Center Facilities Management.

  • 2+ years in Electrical Commissioning/Testing for data centers.

• Strong knowledge of:

  • Power systems (UPS, Control Panels, Generators)

  • Basic cooling systems (HVACs, BMS, ELV)

  • Maintenance of switchgear and distribution panels

• Good understanding of CAFM systems and mobile maintenance apps.

• Proficient in basic English; capable of working independently in high-pressure environments.

• Ability to work in rotating shifts (24×7 operations).
