Yas WaterWorld Abu Dhabi is hiring Lifeguards to join its dynamic talent pool. This guest-facing role is essential for ensuring the safety and enjoyment of guests across all water attractions. You’ll be responsible for monitoring water activities, responding to emergencies, maintaining life-saving skills, and delivering exceptional guest service in a high-energy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor water areas and ensure guest safety at all times.

• Operate and ride water slides and attractions as required.

• Respond to emergencies and perform rescues as necessary.

• Follow safety and ride operation protocols according to guidelines.

• Participate in regular lifeguard training and maintain “test-ready” rescue and life support skills.

• Work outdoors in extreme weather conditions, including heat.

• Communicate clearly with guests and team members in English.

• Assist with setup, relocation, and maintenance of park equipment and furniture.

• Uphold a positive and professional image; smile and greet guests enthusiastically.

Minimum Requirements:

• Vision: 20/25 (corrected or uncorrected).

• Ability to swim 25 meters non-stop using front crawl or breaststroke.

• Ability to swim underwater (1.4m depth) for 3 meters and retrieve a 10-pound object.

• Basic English speaking skills.

• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Must be physically fit and capable of treading water and performing rescues.

Preferred Qualifications (Desirable):

• Certification from International Lifeguard Training Program or equivalent.

• SCUBA certification and previous swimming/lifeguard experience.

• Guest service experience in leisure or hospitality.

• Ability to swim 200 meters non-stop and retrieve a 10-pound brick from a 5-meter depth.

• Tread water for 2 minutes without using arms.

• UAE Driver’s License or buggy license.

• Intermediate or higher proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).

• Basic Arabic speaking ability.
