Keolis MHI is hiring an experienced QHSE Director to lead the Quality, Health, Safety & Environment function across the Dubai Metro, Dubai Tram, and associated contracts. This senior role requires a strategic leader with rail industry experience and strong credentials in QHSE compliance, certification, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage QHSE systems in alignment with legal and stakeholder requirements.

Direct development and certification processes of QHSE frameworks.

Conduct audits, inspections, and generate reports on compliance and performance metrics.

Define and implement QHSE strategies to minimize risk and enhance safety and sustainability.

Guide accident investigation processes and ensure regulatory reporting.
-
Oversee departmental succession planning, training, and team development.
-
Ensure cross-department collaboration to align QHSE policies with organizational objectives.

Represent Keolis MHI in external forums including regulators, public entities, and key partners.
Strategic Duties:
-
Develop long-term QHSE strategy in alignment with business goals.

Contribute to overall organizational planning and future rebids.
-
Ensure financial stewardship and QHSE alignment with budget targets.
-
Lead customer relations and drive service excellence through continuous improvement.
-
Build and motivate high-performing teams and ensure cultural alignment with Keolis MHI values.
Required Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field plus professional QHSE certifications (e.g., ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001).

Membership with IOSH, IEMA, or CMI with current CPD.

At least 10 years of senior-level QHSE leadership experience, preferably in the rail or transport sector.
