Siemens Energy, a global leader in energy technology, is hiring an Electrical Turbocompressor Engineer / Motor and Drive Specialist to join their Transformation of Industry division in Dubai. This role plays a crucial part in decarbonizing the industrial sector by supporting electrification projects and delivering advanced motor-driven turbocompressor solutions. You’ll lead technical strategies for electrical drive systems and collaborate across international teams to drive innovation in energy transformation.
Key Responsibilities:

Represent Siemens Energy as a leader in motor-driven turbocompressor solutions.

Lead technical discussions and engage with clients during pre-FEED, FEED, and project execution phases.

Manage suppliers and ensure effective integration of transformers, drives, and motors.

Optimize compressor selection to align with ideal electrical drive system configurations.

Guide and mentor a team of electrical engineers within the Compression division.

Conduct and apply results from power system studies, such as sub-synchronous torsional interaction analysis.
What You Bring:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.

10+ years of experience in electrical systems design, especially in large motors and variable speed drives.

Deep understanding of electrical infrastructure components such as transformers, e-houses, and MV switchgear.

Proven ability to design and integrate drive systems for turbocompressors into client infrastructures.

Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience leading engineering teams.

Familiarity with market trends in rotating machines and electrical systems.
