🎯 Job Purpose

The Procurement and Logistics Sourcing Specialist will supervise and support a team of procurement professionals, focusing on supplier relationship management, sourcing, evaluation, and negotiation of high-value, complex commodities and services. This role ensures strategic cost control, operational excellence, and compliance with procurement standards.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Oversee supplier compliance with contract terms and maintain contract documentation and access controls.

• Resolve contractual issues proactively to prevent service disruptions.

• Assist in implementing procurement strategies to achieve cost optimization and value generation.

• Lead supplier sourcing, pre-qualification, and evaluation to support stakeholder procurement needs.

• Approve supply orders/contracts up to AED 10,000; provide analysis for higher-value contracts.

• Develop tender documentation and guide cross-functional teams through the tendering process.

• Lead complex supplier negotiations and finalize commercial terms for multiple commodity groups.

• Identify commercial risks and develop mitigation strategies.

• Conduct basic feasibility studies for optimal resource use.

• Execute Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) programs.

• Review team activity and performance reports; flag areas requiring intervention or optimization.

🎓 Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or Honours (preferably in Procurement, Finance, Engineering, or related fields).

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in non-aircraft procurement.

• Professional certifications preferred: CIPS, MCIPS, CPP, CPSM, CSMP, IPSCMI (e.g., CIPP, CPPP, CISCP, CICCM, CIPN, CITLP, CISM, CMPO).

• Experience in major capital procurement, service contract tenders, and leading high-stakes negotiations.

• Ability to supervise cross-functional procurement teams and deliver complex projects.

• Familiarity with procurement tools, performance metrics, and compliance standards.
