Job Description:

We are currently hiring a Rolling Stock Quality Control Inspector in Dubai, UAE to support retrofit and fleet-wide quality activities for railway vehicles. This is an excellent opportunity to be a part of a dynamic, global engineering team working on transformative transport infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Retrofit and Containment Scope

• Conduct fleet-wide inspections and quality control for retrofit activities.

• Maintain accurate records of all inspections, documentation updates, and traceability matrices.

• Ensure tool calibration and proper usage of materials and chemicals.

• Monitor and report non-conformities to the Quality and Subsystem Managers.

• Manage NCR reporting and resolution through the Alstom supplier portal.

• Attend internal quality meetings and provide updates on ongoing work progress.

Punch/Snag List Management

• Carry out internal inspections to verify closure of punch/snag items.

• Conduct joint inspections with clients for final sign-off.

• Update rolling stock punch list daily and prepare weekly progress reports.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronic Engineering.

• 1–3 years of quality assurance experience in the railway/rolling stock sector.

• Solid understanding of ISO 9001 standards and quality tools.

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.

• Fluent in English.

• Hands-on experience with torque tightening and other railway-specific quality processes.
