TopRecroot, a leading Venture Debt Fund with a strong presence across the Middle East, is looking for a Senior Associate with debt experience in the GCC markets. This role will involve integral responsibilities across the investment process, from origination to execution, with a focus on venture-backed growth companies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Play a key role in the investment process from origination to execution, including financial analysis, due diligence, and investment committee preparation.

• Evaluate venture-backed growth companies with a focus on creditworthiness, business fundamentals, and market positioning.

• Build and maintain financial models and debt structuring scenarios to support investment decisions.

• Conduct in-depth industry and market research to identify trends, risks, and investment opportunities across the GCC.

• Collaborate closely with senior team members and portfolio companies to support ongoing monitoring and value creation initiatives.

• Support capital deployment strategy and help refine internal processes as the venture debt platform scales.

Requirements:

• 3-6 years of experience in private credit, leveraged finance, or structured lending, ideally with exposure to venture or growth-stage businesses.

• Ability to assess and structure credit investments with a commercial mindset.

• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Arabic is not required.

• Track record of working effectively in entrepreneurial or fast-paced environments.

• Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CFA) are a plus.
