Position Title: Financial Accountant

Salary: AED 10,000 – 12,000 per month (inclusive of fixed allowances)

Position Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and qualified Financial Accountant to take ownership of financial reporting, compliance, and daily accounting operations. You will ensure timely preparation of reports aligned with IFRS standards and UAE VAT laws, assist with audits, and contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities. The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and ready to thrive in a dynamic UAE-based business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate general ledger entries, reconciliations, and journal postings

• Handle accounts payable and receivable; oversee month-end and year-end closing processes

• Prepare financial statements in line with IFRS and FTA VAT requirements

• Conduct bank reconciliations, intercompany accounting, and cash flow tracking

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

• Coordinate with external auditors and support year-end audit documentation

• Ensure VAT compliance, including timely filings and accurate record-keeping

• Monitor financial transactions and provide reports for management insights

• Maintain internal controls and ensure regulatory compliance

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Minimum 1 year of UAE or international accounting experience

• Certification (or part-qualified) in ACCA, CPA, CMA, or CA is an advantage

• Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT regulations, and FTA reporting standards

• Proficient with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or ERP systems)
