Job Title: UAE-Based Accountant

Job Description:
We are launching a next-generation AI-powered accounting firm in Dubai that is reimagining financial services for small and medium-sized enterprises across various sectors. Our goal is to automate, simplify, and elevate accounting services using cutting-edge technologies. To support our growing operations, we are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive accountant based in the UAE who is passionate about innovation and excellence in financial management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Post accurate journal entries using accounting software such as Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or Odoo

• Reconcile bank statements and client transactions with a high degree of precision

• Prepare timely and accurate financial reports and statements

• Handle VAT filings, returns, and Corporate Tax (CT) submissions in compliance with UAE regulations

• Communicate daily with a diverse portfolio of clients in a professional and friendly manner

• Supervise and review tasks performed by remote junior accounting staff to ensure quality and consistency

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related fields

• Professional certification (CA, CPA, CMA, ACCA, ACA) preferred; candidates actively pursuing certification are welcome

• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience within the UAE

• Solid experience with accounting software platforms like Zoho, QuickBooks, or Odoo

• Excellent written and verbal communication in English

• Highly detail-oriented, reliable, and self-motivated

• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and AI tools

Preferred Candidate:

• Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years
