Specialist – Commercial Banking

As a Specialist in Commercial Banking at First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), you will support the Area Manager & Relationship Managers in managing and growing a portfolio of liability customers in a defined geographical market. This role is focused on customer service excellence, process improvements, and handling customer communication effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end processes for customer communication.

  • Ensure effective complaint management and timely resolution.

  • Support KYC initiatives and monitor NPS scores for the unit.

  • Handle customer inquiries related to AML alerts, loan settlements, and charge reversals.

  • Coordinate with branches for special requests (e.g., high-value cash withdrawals, foreign currency demand drafts).

  • Analyze and improve existing business processes to enhance customer satisfaction.

  • Ensure adherence to agreed service-level agreements (SLA) and timelines for customer onboarding and issue resolution.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • At least 3 years of relevant local market knowledge in retail banking products and services.

  • Strong compliance, operations, product, or sales governance background.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to propose process improvements and integrate customer insights into actionable plans.

  • Customer-focused with a pragmatic approach to change and process excellence.
