GEMS Education is seeking a visionary and dedicated Head of Inclusion to join its leadership team in August 2025. This full-time, on-site role in Dubai is ideal for an experienced inclusion specialist with a deep commitment to supporting students with diverse learning needs and leading inclusive education practices. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Inclusion Department staff and roles.

• Coordinate department meetings, student support reviews, and divisional collaborations.

• Oversee documentation for admissions, referrals, and support planning.

• Ensure KHDA-compliant in-school service provisions and support provider coordination.

• Hire, assign, and collaborate in evaluating Learning Support Assistants (LSAs).

• Support admissions team by reviewing applicant files and interviewing for ELL/SOD suitability.

• Lead internal evaluations and compliance with KHDA, NEASC, CIS, and IBDP standards.

• Manage inclusion budget proposals and resourcing priorities.

• Oversee Gifted & Talented (GT) identification and programming.

• Collaborate with exam coordinators for student accommodation provisions.

• Contribute to whole-school development goals, policies, and leadership evaluations.

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 3–5 years in a similar leadership role with a strong track record in inclusion.

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred).

• In-depth understanding of current SEN and inclusive education research and practices.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

• Experience in international or multicultural schools is highly valued.

• Arabic language proficiency is an advantage.
