Outlier partners with top tech companies to improve AI models by providing high-quality human feedback. We are currently seeking fluent Tamil (India) writers to contribute to projects that help train generative AI systems.

This is a freelance, fully remote role with flexible working hours—ideal for writers seeking meaningful and creative remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate AI-generated Tamil responses by ranking and assessing quality

  • Write original short stories or factual content in Tamil (India) on given topics

  • Determine factual accuracy of Tamil (India) text content generated by AI

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fluency in Tamil (India) and strong command of written Tamil

  • Experience as a professional writer, translator, editor, journalist, or similar role

  • Undergraduate or graduate education in humanities or creative writing

  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills

Payment Details:

  • Average pay: USD $7.50 per hour for core project tasks

  • Rates may vary depending on skills, location, experience, and project type

  • Some projects may include incentive bonuses

  • Lower rates may apply during onboarding or overtime phases
