Job Summary

As an HVAC Technician G2, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in a commercial environment. Your work will ensure safe, efficient, and comfortable conditions within the facility while meeting the highest industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems

• Install diverse HVAC systems and ensure compliance with installation standards

• Conduct routine maintenance checks and preventative service tasks

• Inspect thermostats, motors, belts, controls, and filters

• Ensure correct chemical treatment and calibration of HVAC systems

• Update chilled water readings and manage chilled water treatment

• Use and maintain hand and power tools safely and effectively

• Work with BMS (Building Management System) and follow building safety protocols

• Respond promptly to HVAC emergencies and breakdowns

• Maintain documentation and order necessary tools or replacement parts

• Replace expired or damaged components and fabricate parts when needed

• Follow fire alarm and safety systems procedures

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and electrical/mechanical troubleshooting

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and instruction manuals

• Skilled in the use of hand/power tools

• Proficient in BMS operations and HVAC calibration standards

• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred (or equivalent technical certification)

• 3–15 years of experience in HVAC maintenance and installation

• Experience in commercial and data center environments is a plus
