Gargash Group is seeking a motivated Junior Accountant (UAE National) to join their Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with internship experience who are eager to start their career in accounting within a reputed UAE-based organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Transactions and Ledger Management

• Process daily ledger entries and ensure financial transactions are accurate and timely.

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and address discrepancies.

• Assist with monthly closing activities and journal entries.

Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Compile and support financial data for internal reports.

• Assist in preparing P&L statements, balance sheets, and audit schedules.

Budgeting & Forecasting Support

• Contribute to budget preparations by gathering and verifying data.

• Analyze variances between actual and forecasted results.

Audit & Compliance

• Support audit requests and preliminary checks.

• Help maintain internal controls to safeguard financial data.

Expense & Payment Processing

• Review and process staff expense reports.

• Assist in accounts payable/receivable and vendor verification.

General Duties

• Maintain organized financial records.

• Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in handling financial data.

• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Nationality: UAE National

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field

• Experience: No prior work experience required (Internships or training programs are an advantage)
