The Cyber Security Specialist will be responsible for safeguarding the organization’s IT infrastructure, networks, applications, and data from cyber threats. The role combines leadership in cybersecurity strategy with hands-on execution across risk management, threat detection, compliance, and incident response.
Key Responsibilities

Lead risk assessments, threat modeling, and vulnerability management.

Oversee SOC operations, incident response, and forensics.

Configure and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, DLP, and other tools.

Maintain security standards based on ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and SANS.

Support DevSecOps, secure software reviews, and code analysis.

Conduct penetration testing and lead security audits.
-
Manage IAM, PAM, and MFA systems.
-
Deliver cybersecurity training and awareness programs.
-
Collaborate with IT teams to secure design and operations.

Work with external vendors, auditors, and regulators.

Lead business continuity and disaster recovery planning.

Stay current with evolving threats and security technologies.
Required Qualifications
-
10+ years in Cybersecurity/Information Security/Network Security.

Expertise in incident response, threat intelligence, malware analysis, and forensics.

Strong knowledge of firewalls, SIEM, endpoint security, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).

Experience in risk management, compliance audits, and secure architecture.

Proficiency in encryption, PKI, and monitoring tools.

Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash is a plus.
Education & Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT (Master’s preferred).

At least one of the following certifications (required):

CISSP

OSCP

CCSP

CompTIA Security+, GCIH, GCIA, etc.
