PARIS GROUP is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Trademark Attorney (Arabic Speaker) to join its Legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in intellectual property (IP) law, particularly focusing on trademark prosecution, enforcement, and litigation. This full-time, on-site role is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of brands and contribute to robust brand protection strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Trademark Prosecution & Registration: Conduct trademark availability searches and risk assessments; draft, file, and manage trademark applications with authorities such as USPTO, EUIPO, IP India, and WIPO; handle office actions, oppositions, and responses to refusals.

• Trademark Enforcement & Litigation: Monitor and address trademark infringements; draft cease-and-desist letters, settlement agreements, and legal notices; assist in litigation by preparing pleadings and evidence.

• Brand Protection & Strategy: Advise clients on brand management strategies, develop anti-counterfeiting measures, and handle domain name disputes and online infringement matters.

• Legal Research & Compliance: Stay updated with global IP regulations; conduct legal research and draft memoranda; ensure compliance with international trademark laws and treaties.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law (LLB or LLM).

• Valid license to practice law.

• Proficiency in Arabic is mandatory.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in trademark law, focusing on registration, prosecution, enforcement, and litigation.

• Strong skills in drafting, negotiating, and enforcing legal agreements, including licensing contracts.

• Experience in managing global trademark portfolios.

• In-depth knowledge of international trademark laws, procedures, and databases.

• Familiarity with domain name and social media-related IP issues.

• Excellent legal research, negotiation, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
