About the Job:
As a Credit Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing credit risk, ensuring timely collection of receivables, and maintaining strong internal control systems. You will be responsible for assessing client creditworthiness, coordinating with internal teams, and supporting the company’s financial stability through effective credit management.
Key Responsibilities:

Maximize accounts receivable performance and minimize risks through timely collections.

Approve credit lines for small to mid-sized customer accounts within insurance limits.

Handle customer credit issues in collaboration with the sales and other internal teams.

Manage postdated cheque collection and ensure timely deposits.

Prepare and dispatch balance confirmations and monthly statements to clients, reporting on status as required.

Maintain and regularly update customer credit files with accurate documentation.

Coordinate credit-related actions with the sales team when necessary.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in credit management or accounts receivable.

Strong understanding of credit risk assessment and collection strategies.

Excellent coordination and communication skills to work with internal teams and clients.

Attention to detail with strong organizational skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet collection targets.
