Overview:
We are hiring an experienced Warehouse Specialist for a heavy machinery rental and industrial waste processing plant. With a minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience, the ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in inventory management, asset tracking, and warehouse organization. You will ensure efficient handling, storage, and documentation of heavy machinery and equipment while maintaining a clean, safe, and well-structured warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments of heavy machinery, equipment, and materials.

• Organize inventory in a logical manner to ensure easy access and optimal space utilization.

• Implement labeling and categorization systems for streamlined tracking.

• Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies promptly.

Asset List Maintenance:

• Collaborate with the Logistics Coordinator and Maintenance team to update the asset list for the rental division.

• Record detailed information for each new asset, including serial numbers, specifications, and condition.

• Track equipment rentals, returns, maintenance status, and ensure data accuracy.

Warehouse Organization and Cleanliness:

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

• Ensure proper storage practices to protect heavy machinery and processing materials.

• Optimize warehouse space through strategic inventory stacking and placement.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Prepare and maintain thorough documentation, including receiving reports, inventory logs, and asset updates.

• Generate periodic reports on inventory levels, asset movement, and warehouse performance.

• Support management with analysis and recommendations for operational improvements.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with Logistics, Maintenance, and other departments to meet equipment and machinery needs.

• Communicate inventory or equipment-related issues promptly to relevant teams.

• Ensure smooth and accurate handovers of equipment to rental divisions and other departments.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations, particularly in heavy machinery or industrial sectors.

• Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and asset tracking.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Proficiency in warehouse management software and MS Office tools.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

• Ability to operate forklifts or heavy equipment (certifications are a plus).

• Knowledge of safety protocols and storage practices for industrial environments.
