🔍 Job Overview:

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and solutions-driven Tax Specialist to join a dynamic regional tax team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a tax professional who thrives on compliance, enjoys streamlining processes, and wants to make a real impact behind the scenes. You’ll work across multiple jurisdictions including the UAE, KSA, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, and Lebanon — ensuring tax compliance, optimizing workflows, and collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.

💼 Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file withholding tax, VAT, and corporate income tax returns across six countries

• Coordinate renewal of tax certificates with internal and external contacts

• Assist clients and vendors in obtaining tax documents and managing refund/credit claims

• Recover withheld funds from clients in Kuwait, with internal support

• Guide vendors (including affiliates) through tax certificate processes

• Perform weekly vendor payment reviews to ensure compliance

• Collaborate with treasury on tax payment planning

• Maintain and reconcile tax general ledger accounts

• Post journals and ensure tax-related accounts are accurate and up-to-date

• Support tax system projects including:

  • E-invoicing rollouts in the Middle East

  • SAP S/4HANA implementation

  • VAT implementation in new countries

• Contribute to internal tax reports and assist in ongoing projects and transformation initiatives

• Stay informed on tax regulatory updates and best practices

• Provide team support and cover for colleagues as needed

✅ Candidate Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 3–5 years of hands-on tax/accounting experience

• Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA) strongly preferred

• Prior Big 4 experience is a plus

• SAP experience is essential

• Knowledge of e-invoicing regulations in the Middle East and globally

• Experience working in a multinational environment with regional tax exposure
