Are you a skilled General Ledger Accountant with a strong background in the FMCG industry? Our client, a well-established importer and exporter of premium fresh fruits and vegetables across local and international markets, is seeking a detail-driven GL Accountant to join their dynamic finance team in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reconcile monthly employee headcount between the system and actual records.

• Prepare and post payroll entries accurately with division, department, and employee coding; secure necessary approvals from the Finance Manager.

• Generate monthly payroll summaries and reconciliations for review by GL Supervisor, FM, and CFO.

• Ensure timely payment of utilities, telecommunications, and Salik recharge.

• Conduct monthly utility expense analysis (electricity, water, etc.) and flag unusual costs or discrepancies.

• Maintain and improve ERP system knowledge; act as a super user for all finance modules.

• Identify and eliminate manual processes by optimizing ERP functionalities.

Candidate Profile:

• Male, aged 40 years or below

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (preferred)

• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in the FMCG sector, with a strong background in General Ledger functions

• Proficient in SAP, Oracle, Excel, and familiar with IFRS standards

• Skilled in reconciliations, payroll processing, and period-end closing activities
