Outlier is a leading company that supports the development of cutting-edge artificial intelligence technologies by collecting and analyzing high-quality human feedback. As part of their mission, they are currently looking for experienced Romanian freelance writers to contribute to AI training and development. This is a remote, contract-based opportunity with flexible working hours.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review and evaluate Romanian-language responses generated by AI models, ranking them based on relevance and quality.

• Write short stories in Romanian on given topics to help train AI understanding of language and context.

• Assess factual accuracy and coherence of Romanian-language outputs created by AI systems.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Fluency in Romanian with strong writing skills.

• Experience as a professional translator or writer (e.g., copywriter, journalist, technical writer, editor).

• Background in humanities or writing-related fields (either undergraduate or graduate level).

• Creative writing capabilities are highly valued.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Enrollment in or completion of higher education in creative writing or related fields.

• Demonstrated experience in professional Romanian language content creation.

Compensation:

• The average pay rate for core project work is approximately USD $15.00 per hour.

• Rates may vary depending on expertise, project requirements, skills assessment, and academic background.

• Non-core work (such as onboarding or overtime) may have lower rates, while specialized roles (e.g., PhDs) may receive higher compensation.

• Some projects include performance-based incentives.
