Position: Accounts Payable Accountant

About the Role:

We are looking for a diligent and detail-focused Accounts Payable Accountant to join the growing finance team at AFC Holidays. This role is essential in maintaining financial accuracy, ensuring timely vendor payments, and upholding strong internal controls. Key Responsibilities:

📥 Invoice & Payment Processing

• Accurately process vendor invoices and ensure timely disbursement of payments

• Verify all payment approvals and required documentation are in place

📊 Reconciliation & Reporting

• Reconcile vendor statements regularly and resolve any discrepancies promptly

• Generate and analyze accounts payable reports for internal stakeholders

📆 Month-End & Audit Support

• Support month-end closing activities including journal entries and reconciliations

• Assist in preparing documentation for internal and external audits

🤝 Stakeholder Collaboration

• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal departments

• Identify areas for improvement in the accounts payable process and assist with implementation

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable, preferably within a multinational company

• Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and AP workflows

• Proficient in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

• Ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary & Benefits:

💰 AED 3,000 to 4,000 per month (all-inclusive)
