Overview:
Aswaar Consulting is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Consultant to join our team in Dubai. This role involves managing the full spectrum of accounting and financial reporting activities for clients, primarily in the retail sector. If you’re a finance professional with a strong background in bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, and cash flow management—and you’re passionate about delivering high-quality advisory services—this opportunity is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

Bookkeeping & General Ledger:

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate accounting records.

• Record journal entries and manage the general ledger.

Financial Statements & Reporting:

• Prepare income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.

• Ensure all financial reporting complies with IFRS and industry standards.

Cash Flow & Forecasting:

• Conduct detailed cash flow analysis and provide projections to management.

• Support senior leadership with timely financial insights.

Reconciliation & Compliance:

• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

• Oversee lease-related and security deposit reconciliations.

Budgeting & Process Optimization:

• Assist in budget planning, forecasting, and variance analysis.

• Recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance (BCom, MCom); professional certification (ACCA, CA) highly preferred.

• 3–5 years of relevant post-qualification experience, preferably in the retail industry.

• Strong grasp of financial statement preparation, cash flow forecasting, and reconciliation processes.

• ERP proficiency (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel skills.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• UAE-based candidates only.

Compensation:

• Salary: AED 9,000 – 12,000 per month (inclusive of fixed allowances)
