The ideal candidate will be skilled in translating various types of documents from English to French Canadian with high accuracy and cultural relevance. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely while contributing to impactful translation projects across diverse sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate written content from English to French Canadian with accuracy, ensuring cultural sensitivity.

• Maintain the tone, style, and meaning of the original text while adhering to client-specific guidelines.

• Conduct research to use correct terminology, particularly for specialized fields (e.g., healthcare, legal, technical).

• Collaborate with project managers to clarify translation requirements and resolve any linguistic issues.

• Review and proofread translations to ensure quality and consistency.

• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently.

Key Requirements:

• Proficiency in French Canadian and strong command of English.

• Translation degree or equivalent qualification; or at least 3 years of professional translation experience.

• Proven experience in translation, particularly in specialized fields like healthcare, legal, or technical content.

• Excellent writing skills with attention to detail and cultural nuances.

• Proficiency in translation software (e.g., MemoQ, Phrase, Wordbee) is preferred.
