Company Overview

Our client, a Tier 1 Main Contracting company in the UAE, is hiring an experienced QA/QC Manager for high-profile interior fit-out and civil construction projects across Dubai. This role is being offered through J10 Consulting on an outsourced contract basis, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent staff role after 6 months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute project-specific Quality Assurance and Control (QA/QC) plans

• Conduct site inspections, audits, and ensure compliance with quality standards

• Oversee documentation, inspection procedures, and material approvals

• Lead a team of QA/QC Engineers and Inspectors, providing mentoring and support

• Prepare detailed QA/QC reports: weekly, monthly, and trend analysis reports

• Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve quality-related issues

• Monitor implementation of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and Method Statements

• Conduct internal audits and ensure implementation of quality procedures across the project lifecycle

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field

• 7–10+ years of QA/QC experience in the construction sector, specifically with Main Contractors in the UAE

• Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing QA/QC teams

• In-depth understanding of local and international QA/QC standards and practices

• Familiarity with working alongside regulatory bodies and third-party inspection agencies

• Certifications like ASQ Certified Quality Engineer or Six Sigma Black Belt are a plus

• Immediate availability preferred
