Raytheon is looking for a summer intern to join their Supply Chain team in Abu Dhabi for up to 7 months. This role provides an opportunity to work closely with various function partners and leadership in procurement activities, including sourcing goods and services, preparing procurement packages, and supporting purchasing decisions while adhering to company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the procurement team in preparing procurement packages and reviewing requests and requirements.

• Communicate with requestors and suppliers to collect data for purchases.

• Identify procurement system improvements and new work areas, including sourcing new suppliers.

• Source and secure goods/services with a focus on cost-effectiveness.

• Prepare tenders, bids, and RFQs, evaluating proposals based on cost, quality, and delivery.

• Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality assurance standards.

• Ensure all goods and services are delivered on time, meeting organizational goals.

Job Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program with an emphasis in Business or a related field.

• GPA of 3.0+ out of 4.0 or 4.0+ out of 5.0.

• Proficiency in Arabic and English (both written and oral).

• Strong collaboration and communication skills with diverse teams.

• Ability to handle multiple projects and work independently.

• Familiarity with procurement processes and the ability to negotiate costs effectively.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt to change.
