• The Department of Finance – Abu Dhabi plays a vital role in shaping the Emirate’s financial future by implementing sustainable strategies to ensure economic excellence. As a Manager – Information Security, you will be responsible for enabling technical teams to make informed security decisions, managing security tools and patterns, and implementing effective security controls across the organization. This role ensures the protection of sensitive information and critical systems against threats and vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise and support technical teams in adopting secure system designs and architecture.

• Implement and manage efficient security tools, patterns, and controls across all systems.

• Safeguard sensitive data and IT infrastructure from cyber threats.

• Identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities in existing systems.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure secure development practices and compliance with regulatory standards.

• Monitor security trends and stay updated on best practices relevant to the finance sector.

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology or a closely related field.

• Strong understanding of IT and Information Security trends, particularly within the finance industry.

Experience:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in information security or a related role, preferably within finance or public sector organizations.
