The Senior Specialist – Assets Planning and Development will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with ISO55001 standards, enhancing asset management practices, and driving the RTA’s strategy. Responsibilities include asset audits, policy development, risk management, and coordination of value management processes. The role requires collaboration across departments and will involve regular reporting and strategy development for sustainable asset management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Audit & Compliance: Review ISO55001 audit process and internal audits to ensure compliance with international and internal asset management standards.

• Value Management: Implement strategies to enhance asset value management and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure adherence to the Value Management Standard.

• Policy & Procedure Development: Develop and update asset management policies, procedures, and guidelines.

• Risk & Emergency Management: Identify risks related to assets, ensure risk management and emergency response plans are in place, and monitor their implementation.

• Strategy & Reporting: Prepare and implement the RTA’s asset strategy, ensuring it aligns with global best practices and regularly reporting on its progress.

• Circular Economy & Sustainability: Supervise the implementation of a circular economy system within the RTA, aligning with international standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering). A Master’s degree is preferred.

• Experience: At least 8 years of related working experience in asset management or a similar field.
