ACCEL Human Resource Consultants is hiring a Solar Design Engineer for a full-time, on-site role in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be a technically skilled professional with 5–7 years of hands-on experience in utility-scale solar PV projects, including Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) exceeding 500 MW. This role focuses on leading the design, engineering, and development of large-scale solar power plants, ensuring alignment with international engineering standards and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop conceptual and detailed layouts for utility-scale solar PV systems

• Conduct energy yield assessments and perform system optimization studies

• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation for tendering, permits, and execution

• Use advanced design and simulation tools to model solar performance

• Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure timely and compliant project execution

• Ensure all designs meet local regulatory frameworks and global best practices

• Support project scaling up to gigawatt (GW) level installations

• Ensure successful integration with grid infrastructure and compliance with utility standards

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Renewable, or Energy Engineering

• 5–7 years of direct experience in utility-scale solar PV projects with BESS components (>500 MW)

• Proven track record in designing projects scaling up to the gigawatt level

• Proficient in industry-standard tools: PVsyst, AutoCAD, Helioscope, SketchUp, PVcad, and grid compliance applications

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Strong technical documentation and reporting skills

• Familiarity with local and international electrical codes and safety standards

• Effective team collaborator with problem-solving orientation

• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
