Antons is hiring a Procurement Specialist – IT to manage the sourcing and purchasing of security equipment from China or other international markets. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in procurement, particularly in the electronics or security sector, with strong supplier management, negotiation skills, and an understanding of international trade and logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop procurement strategies for sourcing security equipment at optimal pricing.

• Identify and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers, especially in China.

• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms to ensure quality and cost-efficiency.

• Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely deliveries.

• Monitor supplier performance and ensure adherence to quality standards.

• Conduct market research to keep up with pricing trends and new technologies.

• Handle import documentation, customs clearance, and UAE trade compliance.

• Manage purchase orders, inventory, and procurement budgets.

• Collaborate with internal departments like sales and operations to align procurement with business needs.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement (preferably in security equipment or electronics).

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

• Fluent in English with the ability to communicate effectively with Chinese suppliers.

• Proficiency in Excel and sourcing platforms (e.g., Alibaba, Made-in-China).

• Knowledge of UAE import/export laws and customs procedures.

• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
