TAQA Group is hiring a UAE National for the position of Lead, Business Development – TechnoCommercial to join their Generation business, a global leader in sustainable power and water generation. This role involves supporting technical and commercial activities, conducting market assessments, and collaborating with internal teams to identify and evaluate new business opportunities aligned with the organization’s strategic goals.
Responsibilities:

Contribute to budgeting exercises and draft key performance indicators to monitor business development growth.

Maintain a comprehensive database of prospective projects, including strategic roadmaps, expected returns, and market intelligence.

Conduct market assessments and technical analyses to evaluate growth opportunities, such as mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, or international expansions.

Assist in preparing business proposals with strong technical insights.

Develop investment dossiers and prioritization plans and support submission and presentation of investment memos to decision-makers.

Collaborate with EPC, O&M, and technical teams to evaluate and optimize project execution plans and budgets.

Prepare investment feasibility and risk assessment reports for senior leadership.

Coordinate technical due diligence and resolve technical queries in partnership with internal departments.

Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, EPC providers, and technical advisors.

Stay current on global business development trends and propose innovative strategies to capture new market opportunities.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent.

Minimum 6 years of experience in business development or project management.

Strong understanding of technical and commercial aspects of power and water generation.

Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
-
Must be a UAE National (Emiratization role).
