Outlier is seeking Native French speakers to assist in AI training by providing human feedback to enhance audio machine-learning models. This contract-based remote role involves recording short conversations, expressing different emotions, accents, and modulations, and reviewing feedback to improve the models’ understanding of human speech. Candidates will need a quiet home recording setup and access to a high-fidelity microphone for professional-quality recordings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record conversations with varied emotions, accents, and audio modulations

• Review and edit scripts, providing feedback on recordings

• Ensure high-quality audio by maintaining clear, professional recordings

• Use Audacity for file management and organization

• Provide feedback on other user recordings

Qualifications:

• Native fluency in French

• Ability to express a wide range of emotions via voice

• Experience in voice-related work (e.g., voiceover acting, podcasting)

• Access to a quiet environment and an at-home recording studio

• Access to a high-fidelity microphone for recording

• Strong organizational skills for file management

Nice to Have:

• Background in on-screen or on-stage acting, classical voice training, or vocal music

• Experience with audio interfaces

Payment:

• Pay rates of up to $40 USD per hour for core project work
