McDermott International, a global leader in engineering, procurement, construction, and installation (EPCI) services for the energy sector, is seeking a Senior Manager Technology (IT) to lead the Engineering IT team across Europe. This role involves strategic leadership, resource management, and driving the successful execution of complex engineering IT projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead a team of engineering tools & systems administrators, managing assignments and deliverables.

Set organizational goals for teams and individual members, and allocate resources accordingly.

Align engineering systems with client needs and manage project scope changes.
-
Develop and implement functional specifications for project applications and interfaces.
-
Prepare IT administrative estimates and control project spending within allocated budgets.
-
Coach and train personnel, and provide input to audits and peer reviews.
-
Manage software licenses and budget allocation.
-
Capture lessons learned and embed best practices within the organization.
Qualifications & Experience:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or IT, or equivalent work experience.
-
Minimum 15 years of experience in engineering tools administration and Information Management on FEED, EPC, and EPCF projects.

At least 5 years of experience managing resources for large projects.
-
In-depth knowledge of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Fabrication project execution requirements.

Familiarity with modern database-driven engineering tools and integrated engineering systems.
Skills Required:

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Ability to handle complex technical, operational, and organizational problems.

Proficiency in managing large data teams for mega projects.

Strong knowledge of information management and engineering project execution.
