Franke Group is looking for an Operation Director to lead and manage the manufacturing operations of their Foodservice Systems division in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, quality products, competitive costs, and on-time delivery. This role involves overseeing manufacturing activities, mentoring teams, and aligning the unit’s strategies with the business goals, with a strong emphasis on Lean principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee manufacturing activities to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.

• Lead and mentor manufacturing managers, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to deadlines.

• Align manufacturing operations with the business unit’s strategic goals, focusing on efficiency and profitability.

• Implement and refine systems to minimize errors and enhance productivity.

• Collaborate with product designers and engineers during the product development phase.

• Manage people development, provide training, and solve operational issues.

• Work closely with the BU APAC management team to manage matrix reporting structures.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related fields (MBA preferred).

• At least 8 years of experience in end-to-end manufacturing operations.

• Extensive knowledge of manufacturing and equipment maintenance.

• ERP and Lean production experience required.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Excellent leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
