Job Title: Maintenance Technician 

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our industrial operations team. This role is crucial in ensuring the effective upkeep, calibration, and smooth operation of plant machinery and equipment. Job Purpose:
To ensure the proper maintenance, calibration, and functionality of plant equipment and facilities, minimizing downtime and maximizing operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment.

• Respond to equipment breakdowns and carry out timely corrective maintenance.

• Participate in regular maintenance planning meetings and adhere to schedules.

• Conduct calibration activities to maintain equipment accuracy and compliance.

• Assist external contractors during annual maintenance and equipment servicing.

• Install, test, and commission minor project-related modifications in the plant.

• Support the development and execution of the Loss Control Management System.

• Identify and address new HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) risks as they emerge.

• Monitor work areas for potential losses and recommend preventive measures.

• Implement and improve the Work Permit System in line with safety protocols.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering, or
  Completed apprenticeship in a related field from a recognized institute.

• Strong understanding of maintenance systems, tools, and safety practices.

• Basic knowledge of plant modification, equipment calibration, and troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with HSE regulations and Work Permit Systems is a plus.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
