Senior Specialist

Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Senior Specialist to join our Finance team at Solutions+, a Mubadala company. The ideal candidate will play a key role in reviewing general ledger accounts, preparing journal entries, managing monthly and quarterly closings, and ensuring financial reporting compliance across Oracle and FCCS platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review General Ledger (GL) entries and assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.

  • Analyze trial balances (TB) for Oracle entities and submit preliminary findings.

  • Manage monthly and quarterly FCCS reporting, including TB uploads, journal entries, and entity promotions.

  • Prepare financial notes and analytical reports on a quarterly and annual basis.

  • Support budget updates, reconciliations, and contingency allocations.

  • Perform Actual vs. Budget analysis for OPEX/CAPEX and prepare dashboard commentaries.

  • Draft group consolidated notes for Mubadala Group’s quarterly and annual financials.

  • Liaise with internal and external auditors and prepare supporting documentation.

  • Code cash calls and contracts before system upload.

  • Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Desktop Procedures (DTPs).

  • Ensure accurate filing and retention of financial documents to meet legal and audit requirements.

  • Respond promptly to queries from internal stakeholders and auditors.

  • Support regulatory reporting requests from authorities like SCAD and ESR.

  • Compile ICFR documentation as needed.

  • Handle ad-hoc financial reports and management tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • Professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CPA are required.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in finance, accounting, or shared services environment preferred.
