The Manager – Events and Partnerships will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of city operations, events, and stakeholder partnerships. The role will involve securing sponsorships, fostering relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring the successful execution of familiarization trips, VIP visits, and major citywide events, all while aligning with the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism’s strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute city operations and itinerary management, aligning with DET’s mission and quality standards

• Secure sponsorships and maintain strong relationships with public and private stakeholders

• Coordinate financial and in-kind support for familiarization trips, VIP visits, and citywide events

• Engage with event organizers, businesses, and government agencies to formalize partnerships and collaborative initiatives

• Collaborate with tourism entities and hospitality providers to integrate their offerings into DET’s event operations

• Negotiate stakeholder agreements and monitor their contributions to ensure they meet objectives

• Track and assess the performance of stakeholder engagements, preparing periodic reports
