Parsons Corporation is hiring an experienced Commercial Manager to join their team in Abu Dhabi. The role involves managing post-contract commercial activities on engineering and construction projects. You will be responsible for overseeing all financial and contractual matters, leading variation evaluations, handling contractor payments, and managing a commercial team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in quantity surveying, claims analysis, and contract management within the infrastructure sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial and contractual aspects of the project.

• Prepare minutes and documentation for progress meetings.

• Manage contractor payment certificates and valuations.

• Maintain detailed cost and quantity records.

• Advise on measurement procedures and interim/final quantities.

• Evaluate unit rates for new work and variation orders.

• Lead the evaluation of claims and ensure contractual compliance.

• Prepare monthly financial statements and final accounts.

• Audit contractor payments and ensure prompt valuations.

• Monitor final cost estimates and expenditures.

• Lead, coordinate, and monitor commercial team activities.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying.

• Minimum 15 years of demonstrable experience in quantity surveying and commercial management.

• Strong experience in handling variations, claims, and FIDIC contracts.

• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

• Experience in infrastructure projects is highly preferred.

• UAE and UK experience will be an added advantage.

• Chartered status with RICS or CIArb is desirable.

• Ability to work independently and advise both internally and externally.
