Job Title: Head Cashier 

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Head Cashier to join our retail team in Dubai. In this key role, you will lead by example to ensure a seamless and efficient checkout experience, while also mentoring and guiding a team of cashiers to maintain service excellence and operational accuracy.

As a Head Cashier, you’ll oversee front-end operations, maintain staffing levels, and support the Store Manager in preventing inventory shrinkage and maintaining a safe, clean, and organized checkout area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise cashier team to deliver outstanding customer service.

• Train cashiers on drawer accuracy, customer interactions, and company policies.

• Monitor staffing levels and act as backup cashier when needed.

• Maintain cleanliness and safety at checkout stations.

• Support inventory control efforts by minimizing loss and ensuring compliance with procedures.

• Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.

• Collaborate with the Store Manager to improve cashier performance and front-end operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of cashier experience in a retail environment.

• Proven leadership and mentoring skills.

• Strong focus on customer satisfaction and service quality.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle cash accurately.

• Positive attitude, reliability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

• Must be willing to undergo a background check as part of the hiring process.

Preferred Candidate:

• Currently residing in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

• Previous experience in a supervisory cashier or head cashier role is a plus.
