Job Title: Outside Sales Engineer

Job Description:

We are hiring an experienced and driven Outside Sales Engineer to spearhead the promotion and sales of our valve and actuator solutions across diverse industrial sectors. This role is perfect for a technically skilled sales professional with a background in mechanical or chemical engineering and a passion for delivering tailored, high-performance solutions to clients.

As an Outside Sales Engineer, you will play a critical role in identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving revenue growth by offering expert technical advice and demonstrating the value of our product offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow our customer base and increase market share.

  • Develop and execute sales strategies that align with revenue targets and market trends.

  • Build and sustain strong client relationships, understanding customer needs and providing tailored technical solutions.

  • Conduct technical product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features, advantages, and applications of valves, actuators (including BUTTERFLY, BALL valves, etc.).

  • Provide on-site and remote technical support, including troubleshooting and recommending effective solutions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including internal sales, engineering, and marketing for seamless service delivery.

  • Monitor and analyze industry trends and competitor activities to remain ahead in the market.

  • Meet and exceed individual sales targets, contributing to the overall success and growth of the company.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or related Engineering field.

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in sales engineering, preferably within the valve and actuator industry.

  • Strong technical expertise in valves, actuators, and control systems.

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Proven record of success in B2B technical sales and lead generation.

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% for customer meetings, site visits, and industry events.

  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and solution-oriented approach.
