The Lime Tree Cafe & Kitchen is looking for an experienced Head Baker to lead their kitchen operations. This role involves overseeing daily operations, maintaining high-quality food standards, and leading the culinary team to deliver an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate will have extensive culinary experience, strong leadership skills, and a passion for food excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality product output.

• Prepare and cook food for regular services and special functions.

• Develop, design, and create new menu items and recipes.

• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.

• Supervise and manage kitchen staff, leading by example and maintaining productivity.

• Manage inventory, including food purchasing and storage standards.

• Foster a positive work environment by promoting trust and cooperation among team members.

• Develop goals and schedules, ensuring operational and financial objectives are met.

• Handle customer complaints and ensure an exceptional guest experience.

What We Are Looking For:

• Education: High school diploma or GED; culinary degree is a plus.

• Experience: 4+ years of experience in the culinary, food, and beverage industry; at least 2 years in a leadership role.

• Skills: Strong culinary knowledge, leadership, communication skills, and the ability to develop creative menu options.
