Technip Energies is seeking a Principal Electrical Designer to join their team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role involves overseeing detailed electrical designs for FEED and pre-FEED projects within the oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will work with multidisciplinary teams, utilizing SP3D software, and ensure designs adhere to industry standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the creation of electrical designs for FEED and pre-FEED projects.

• Utilize SP3D software to develop electrical design models and drawings.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated design solutions.

• Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to ensure compliance with project requirements.

• Prepare and maintain design documentation, including specifications, reports, and drawings.

• Assist in project proposals, cost estimates, and scheduling.

• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.

• Participate in site visits for data gathering and design validation.

• Support the Lead Electrical Engineer in project execution.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.

• Over 20 years of experience in electrical design within the oil and gas industry.

• Expertise in detailed design for FEED and pre-FEED projects.

• Proficiency in SmartPlant 3D (SP3D) software.

• Strong understanding of industry standards, codes, and regulations.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
