Technip Energies is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their team in Abu Dhabi. The role involves preparing technical specifications, performing electrical calculations, developing electrical designs, and liaising with vendors. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering design within the Oil & Gas industry, proficiency in ETAP software, and a strong understanding of electrical design regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare technical specifications and requisitions in coordination with other disciplines.

• Perform electrical calculations, including equipment sizing, cable sizing, and UPS sizing.

• Develop electrical specifications, data sheets, schedules, load lists, I/O lists, and layout drawings.

• Communicate with vendors and manage the technical follow-up of orders.

• Ensure compliance with contractual technical specifications and propose value engineering solutions.

• Report on engineering activities to the Lead Discipline Engineer.

• Mentor and guide junior employees.

• Collaborate with other disciplines and project support functions.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

• 5+ years of experience in electrical design for oil and gas projects.

• Proficiency with ETAP software and power system analysis studies.

• Experience with electrical design for both onshore and offshore facilities.

• Familiarity with regulations, codes, and standards in the oil and gas industry.

• Experience in brownfield projects and modifications of existing equipment.
