SEGULA Technologies, a global engineering group specializing in sectors like automotive, energy, and software, is seeking an experienced Rolling Stock Team Leader to lead bogie removal and installation, and oversee traction motor refurbishment for Metropolis trains in the UAE. The successful candidate will supervise a team of technicians, manage retrofitting operations, ensure safety and quality compliance, and maintain effective communication across shifts.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead a team to carry out bogie removal and installation on 50 trains.

Oversee traction motor refurbishment activities using dedicated test benches.

Issue daily progress reports and maintain work order documentation.

Ensure quality and safety standards are strictly followed.

Supervise team members, supporting shift transitions and operations flow.

Report deviations, failures, or shortages of tools or materials to the logistics team.

Arrange and coordinate spare part requirements with the storage team.

Validate and test systems post-maintenance and ensure proper closure of tasks.
Required Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, especially on major rolling stock maintenance projects.

Proven expertise in bogie overhauling; traction motor experience is a plus.

Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies.

Fluent in English; international team management experience is beneficial.
