Alutech Systems Middle East & Africa Trading L.L.C. is seeking a Specification Engineer to develop and manage technical specifications for aluminium profile systems, doors, windows, curtain walls, and façade solutions. The role involves collaborating with architects, consultants, and internal teams to ensure accurate specification and compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in aluminium systems and a strong technical background in engineering or architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver project-specific specifications for aluminium systems including structural, thermal, and acoustic requirements

• Interpret architectural and structural drawings to provide suitable solutions and recommend profile systems

• Provide pre-sales technical assistance and support to clients, consultants, and project engineers

• Conduct technical presentations, site visits, and attend project meetings

• Ensure compliance with local/international codes (ASTM, BS EN, UAE/GCC building standards, etc.)

• Maintain documentation such as datasheets, specifications, and submittals for approvals

• Collaborate with product development for customized system solutions

• Coordinate with sales, production, and fabrication teams for feasible project execution

• Support tender submissions and offer value-engineered alternatives

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field

• 3–5+ years’ experience in aluminium systems, façade engineering, or specification roles

• Strong knowledge of aluminium profiles and architectural systems (sliding, folding doors, curtain walls)

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit (BIM is a plus), and MS Office

• Excellent interpretation of architectural/structural plans

• Strong communication and presentation abilities

• Ability to manage multiple projects independently

• UAE driver’s license (mandatory)

Preferred:

• Prior experience with aluminium system suppliers

• Exposure to large-scale construction projects in GCC or MENA region
